Avichay Adraee

Colonel (Res.) Avichay Adraee is one of Israel's most recognizable public figures in the Arab world and served for nearly two decades as the Israel Defense Forces' Arabic-language spokesperson. Over the years, he became the face and voice of the IDF - and, in many ways, of Israel itself - for millions of Arabic speakers across the Middle East and beyond.

Born and raised in Haifa, Adraee studied Arabic and served in Israel's elite Unit 8200 before, at just 23 years old, being appointed as the IDF spokesperson in Arabic - a role that would define his career. Through a groundbreaking communications strategy often described as ‘speaking directly to the enemy,’ he pioneered new ways of engaging audiences across television, traditional media, and social platforms, shaping conversations throughout the region.

Adraee has represented the IDF in thousands of interviews with leading Arab media outlets and has amassed millions of followers online, becoming a trusted source of information for journalists and citizens across the Arab world. His influence is such that, in some circles, he has been nicknamed ‘Hezbollah's Supreme Leader’ - a testament to his visibility and impact.

Gadi Ezra

Gadi Ezra is Israel's former National Public Diplomacy Unit Director at the Prime Minister's Office. Gadi was responsible for crafting policy, coordinating and integrating public diplomacy among all official elements in the State of Israel on issues of national importance regarding all target audiences. He orchestrated major public diplomacy efforts, including a United States presidential visit to Israel and complex security operations, and led national force-building projects on behalf of the country.

Today, Gadi strategically advises governmental and non-governmental entities on policy and public perception and provides commentary for leading Israeli and international platforms, including TIME, Yedioth Aharonot, and Channel 12, on national security and diplomacy. His debut book, ‘11 Days in Gaza,’ describing his team's experiences in Gaza, was published in May 2024.

During his global speaking tours, Gadi shares his unique perspective on war with thousands, drawing on his extensive experience as a human rights attorney and Special Forces veteran, including during Swords of Iron. He frequently provides strategic briefings regarding Israel's challenges in the security, diplomatic, and legal arenas, as well as Jewish peoplehood and social issues.

Previously, Gadi advised the defense establishment on international strategic matters and lectured at Tel Aviv University's School of Law. He also headed the laws of war desk at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he advised diplomats on humanitarian law and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Gadi holds three law degrees from Tel Aviv University and NYU School of Law, specializing in public law and human rights. At NYU, he was the first Israeli chosen to deliver the convocation speech on behalf of his classmates.

Nadav Shoshani

LTC (Res.) Nadav Shoshani recently completed his tenure as the IDF International Spokesperson and Head of International Media, overseeing global communications throughout the multi-front war in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran from 2024 to 2026.

With direct experience in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Judea and Samaria, and aboard aircraft during operations against terrorist targets in Yemen, Shoshani offers a firsthand perspective on IDF decision-making since October 7. He developed communications strategy for the war with Iran in close coordination with American officials. His earlier service as IDF Intelligence Spokesperson brought additional insight into Israel's shadow war across multiple arenas.

Shoshani conducted live interviews and press briefings with leading international outlets during military operations and security crises. He led dozens of embeds that brought hundreds of foreign journalists into active war zones, advised senior IDF leadership on media strategy, and coordinated with foreign governments, diplomats, and international organizations.

He directed communications surrounding defining crises including the World Central Kitchen strike, starvation allegations, hostile flotilla provocations, Iranian missile attacks, and the Rafah operation. His experience offers a rare view of managing communications when Israel's military decisions are placed under an international microscope.

Before the war, Shoshani served as spokesperson for MK and former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot during the 2022 election campaign and judicial reform crisis. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Media from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master's degree in Political Communications from Reichman University. Raised in Jerusalem, he is married with two children.

Nimrod Aloni

Major General (Res.) Nimrod Aloni is a distinguished military strategist and former senior commander in the Israeli Defense Forces, having recently retired after a remarkable 35-year career. Rising through the ranks from the Paratroopers and Israel's special forces, he went on to command the elite Maglan Unit, the Paratroopers Brigade, and numerous formations across Israel's major conflicts of the past three decades.

Units under his command were awarded citations of excellence during both Operation Defensive Shield and the Second Lebanon War. In 2002, Aloni himself was awarded a citation of valor for single-handedly charging a terrorist position under fire.

As Commander of the Gaza Division (143), he played a pivotal role in Operation Guardian of the Walls (2021), leading operations against Hamas and helping thwart attempts to infiltrate Israeli territory. In his final years of service, he served on the IDF General Staff as Commander of the Depth Command, overseeing strategic operations far beyond Israel's borders, including complex missions deep within enemy territory across the Middle East. He also served as Commander of the IDF Military Colleges, where he educated and mentored the next generation of military leaders in strategy and national security.

Today, Major General Aloni advises international organizations and audiences on security, leadership, and strategy. Drawing on decades of operational experience at the highest levels, he offers rare first-hand perspectives on leadership under fire, the evolving geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, the complexities of the Gaza front, and the strategic and operational failures that led to the events of October 7.

Aloni holds a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy and Management from the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., a Master's degree in National Security from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Reichman University. He lives on a kibbutz near Israel's northern border with his wife and four daughters and is an enthusiastic skydiver.
